The Sd.Kfz. 222 and 223 armoured cars arrive
Four-wheel steering, a 2 cm autocannon and a machine gun: fast, fragile, invaluable for scouting.
Two German armoured cars join the Tiger: the Sd.Kfz. 222, with a 2 cm autocannon and an MG 34 machine gun, and the Sd.Kfz. 223, the radio version armed with the machine gun only.
They reach 80 km/h on the road and steer with all four wheels, but their armour only stops light weapons: against a Tiger you win with speed, scouting and flanking, not with the gun.
